Citizen Charter

Activities related to election:

1. Completion of National Assembly Elections, Upazila Parishad Elections, Municipal Council Elections and Union Parishad Elections.

2. Carrying out activities related to setting up polling stations for all elections.

3. Initiation and awareness activities aimed at the spontaneous participation of the general public in various national and local level elections.

4. To ensure fair and impartial elections, exchange views, receive advice and conduct activities with potential candidates, various classes and professionals at the local level.

5. Supply of voter list CDs without photographs for various elections through fee prescribed by the Election Commission.

6. Monitoring of voter list and supply of certified copy through fee prescribed by Election Commission.

7. Also, necessary assistance is provided to the public as per the circulars issued by the Election Commission at various times.

8. Preparation of voter list including names of all citizens above 18 years of age along with photograph.

9. Completion of registration of new eligible voters throughout the year except during the announcement of election schedule.


Services related to National Identity Card:

1. Inclusion of names of all citizens above 01-01-2007 in voter list/national identity card with photograph.

2. Completion of registration of new eligible voters throughout the year except during the announcement of election schedule.

3. Preparation and proper distribution of National Identity Card along with Voter List.

4. Carrying out activities related to transfer of voters, correction of national identity cards and issuance of lost national identity cards.

7. Implementation of smart national identity card distribution program for registered citizens from 2008 to 2016.

8. 2019 Distribution of smart cards among updated voters (date of birth before 01-01-2002).
